Manufacturers must provide a complete set of technical documentation as detailed within the specification for each product offered. Each and every item offered by the bidder must pass the technical evaluation by as detailed in the tender. One of the key considerations of the evaluation is that the manufacturers product code (MPC) of the offered product is stated on all of evidence as required by the specification. If there is not a clear link between the offered product(s) and the documentation (i.e certification, documents’ declarations, artwork etc), then the product(s) will be excluded from the framework. The establishment of full traceability within the supplychain of each product and it’s suitability for the framework is critical. Any item that does not have this this clear and unequivocal link will be excluded from the framework.
